Factory overview
Andover offers comprehensive, end-to-end development, fabrication, assembly, integration, and test capabilities across its centers by leveraging broader Raytheon capabilities. The vertically integrated production spans products all the way from the microelectronics level to circuit card and electronics integration, to antenna and shelter integration and test. This ensures that Raytheon has the entire suite of skillsets and capabilities necessary to produce and support all of its products.
Manufacturing capabilities
- Testing: anechoic chamer testing, environmental stress testing, outdoor antenna testing, and Presidio ITAS
- Sub-Assembly: arrays, CCAs, and electro-mechanical assembly
- Fabrication: cables and harnesses, metals, radomes, RF modules, TRIMMs, and wafers
- Final Integration: communication shelters, and radars
- Other: painting, plating, and rapid prototyping
