Collins Aerospace in Mexico
Collins Aerospace Mexicali is home to both a world-class Aerostructures composite manufacturing and metal fabrication facility, as well as a state-of-the-art Avionics communications and entertainment systems manufacturing facility.
Avionics facility was established in 1966 and has over 1500 employees with a 260 sq ft site.
The Aerostructures facility was established in 2006 and has over 1200 employees across two buildings with a 623 sq ft size.

Advanced Aerostructures Facility
The Mexicali site is responsible for the Nacelle components fabrication and assembly of inlet, fan cowl, thrust reverser & nozzles.
Primary customers
Customers for Avionics facilities include Dassault (F8X, F6X, F9000, F2000), Bombardier (Global), Gulfstream, Textron, Airbus, Boeing (737).
Avionics facility
The Mexicali avionics facility is responsible for assembly of communications and entertainment systems for commercial and business airlines, as well as regional jets delivering an average of 1,700 finished products daily.
