Cross Functional

Launch a dynamic career in Operations!  Experience challenging assignments in Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Quality, and more by joining our Cross-Functional Track of the RTX Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP). 

This track will cultivate the next generation of Operations leaders with: 
  • Cross-Disciplinary Experience: Explore RTX’s Operations organization through rotations in Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Quality, and more.  
  • Hands-On Experience: Lead activities which support the organization, through direct cell supervision to transformative project ownership. 
  • Optimization Focus: Learn to enhance operational efficiency through processes using CORE and data-driven strategies.    
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Engage with senior leadership and train with technical subject matter experts who are leaders in the field.  
  • Collaboration & Support: Advance your career alongside a cohort of young professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment as you embark on the journey together.

Materials Management

Launch your career to new heights with a dynamic and meaningful experience by joining the Materials Management Track of the RTX Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP).  

This track will develop the next generation of Materials Management & Logistics Leaders through:  
  • Cross Functional disciplinary learning: learn the analytical, problem solving, and operational execution skills tactical and strategic business results through communicating cross functionally with engineering, global supply chain, contractors, mechanics, programs, etc. 
  • Present key deliverables in weekly executive meetings (escalation calls, Production meetings, Weekly MRP health meetings 
  • Hands-On experiences: build collaborative relationships across various functions at RTX, that could involve cost reduction through process improvements, inventory initiatives, and new systems integration and own and maintain parts within SAP 
  • Continuous improvement projects: identify and drive initiatives which seek to make a positive impact on materials management & logistics processes, policies, and activities as well as shop floor process improvements that increase output and reduce overall costs 
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Engage with senior leadership and train with technical subject matter experts who are leaders in the field.  
  • Collaboration & Support: Advance your career alongside a cohort of young professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment as you embark on the journey together.

Quality Engineering

Launch your career in the world of Quality where safety, compliance to requirements, and continuous improvement are key in all that we do. Experience challenging assignments across various quality disciplines by joining our prestigious Quality Engineering Track of the RTX Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP). 

This track will cultivate the next generation of Quality Engineers with: 
  • Comprehensive Exposure: Gain insights from three 8-month rotations across Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon. 
  • Hands-On Experience: Exposure to manufacturing processes, product inspection, process certification, gage suitability and lean manufacturing techniques. 
  • Cross-Disciplinary Learning: Bridge several diverse technical sub-disciplines - Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Software Quality, Program Quality and Materials Review. 
  • Optimization Focus: In-depth exposure to product technical problem solving, industry and regulatory compliance strategy, and enterprise quality practices. 
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Engage with senior leadership and train with subject matter experts who are leaders in the quality discipline.  
  • Leadership skills:  
    • Project Management: Develop robust project planning, execution, and monitoring skills. Learn to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.

Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering
